Craigslist, Love or Hate?
Recently, I've been pretty busy with all the packing and throwing out my stuff.
Why? Because I am moving to my new college! Well technically, I'm transferring.
Therefore there's a LOT to be done since the shipping fee from where I live to my new home is EXPENSIVE. I am literally asking myself "It is worth it to ship this all the way to there, paying the extra cost?" for every single stuff that I pick up. It's actually working, and I pretty much threw away 95% of my paperwork/textbooks- since I know that I won't be needing it in my new school. I just kept my important paperworks like my hospital related stuff and my certificate and what not. EVERYTHING ELSE went in to the trash bin, and it feels really good! I can't believe I've been living with all that junk for the past two years.
Well back to the topic, I recently using Craigslist- it's an online adverting site where people can write, with sections of jobs, housing, personals, resumes, communities, and much more. Pretty much everything!
I've been kind of skeptical about this type of site, because it means that you get connected and meeting with the people who you don't know online- sounds scary, huh?
You really have to be careful of the scams and stuff, but other than that, I think it's a GREAT site.
I've already sold my CANON printer, and with no hassle- the guy contacted me after I posted my ad, and came over to my campus and picked up, and gave me the money with cash.
Since the craigslist I posted on was mainly for my city, they lived in the same city, so no SHIPPING FEE. Awesome.
I've posted my shelf that I cannot bring with me, and I've been already getting two interests the next day. I truly tell myself to be careful of the scamming, but I think it's still a great site to know.
Love,
Milly
